A gravity structure that flexes instead of cracking.
Each junction in the mesh is formed by twisting two wires together through two full turns before the hexagonal opening is shaped. If a strand is cut or corrodes through, the twist on either side of it holds, so the mesh does not unravel and the box keeps its shape under load. Filled on site with stone and stacked, the boxes settle with the ground rather than against it, and the open mesh lets water pass through rather than build pressure behind it.
Manufactured in-house by Satyam from soft-annealed, low-carbon wire, hot-dip galvanized and, for corrosive or aggressive ground, further coated in PVC, every batch is woven and test certified before dispatch. Double twisted hexagonal gabion boxes are built for river training, embankment protection and canal banks, and trusted across India.
